In 2012, a small group of curriculum directors in Monmouth County came together to collaborate on areas pertaining specifically to curriculum, instruction and professional development. To date, and in the continuing true spirit of professional collaboration, the Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium, or MC3, has delivered professional development for educators from numerous county districts. MC3 has orchestrated countywide professional development for new/novice teachers; training for teachers of ELA in grades 6-12; K-12 science training; and PARCC preparation. The MC3 executive board is happy to share its processes and practices in an effort to support districts and counties, statewide, in their efforts to truly impact student achievement.
