The Future Ready Schools – New Jersey Certification Summit will take place on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Campus Center at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Parking will be available in the NJIT parking deck located at 154 Summit Street, Newark.

The event will kick off the 2017 certification cycle of the program by providing interested educators and educational leaders with information, guidance, and support to begin the Future Ready Schools certification process. It will also connect attendees with potential resources.

The Certification Summit will open with a review of both the commitment and certification steps, listed online. Attendees will then have the opportunity to develop an action plan for commitment and certification with their teams with the guidance and support of the Future Ready Schools – NJ team. The Certification Summit will also feature a resource fair, where attendees can network and collaborate with other New Jersey educators and speak with a variety of vendors who are familiar with the Future Ready Framework and may have appropriate solutions to schools’ needs.

Districts are encouraged to send teams, including a board of education member, the superintendent, a technology director or IT personnel, school and district leaders, and educators who are dedicated to best preparing their students for success.

The agenda, registration, and more information are available online.
