The Delegate Assembly is the major policy-setting body for the New Jersey School Boards Association. At the Delegate Assembly, school district representatives vote on resolutions submitted by local school boards, county school boards associations, the NJSBA Board of Directors, and standing committees. Policy adopted by the Delegate Assembly is included in NJSBA’s Manual of Positions and Policies on Education and guides NJSBA advocacy in Trenton, in Washington, D.C., and before the courts.

Notice regarding the cutoff date was e-mailed and faxed to school business administrators, county association presidents, board presidents and board delegates on June 9, 2015. A second mailing was sent on July 23. It included the rules for appearing before the Resolutions Subcommittee, which will meet on Saturday, October 3, 2015 to consider the resolutions submitted for the November Semiannual Delegate Assembly agenda.
