NJSBA relies on the local school districts to complete an updated school board member census to provide the Association with the names of current board members and contact information for those members, including a preferred email address.
The Association urges any district that has not updated its census since board reorganization to do so. Districts should continue to update the census report throughout the year if there are changes in board membership.
The census allows NJSBA to properly identify those board members who need to take mandated training, and permits local board members to be properly registered for NJSBA programs and services.
To update the census, business administrators can log in to the NJSBA website, and, from the Board Management section (under “Members Only”), retrieve the PDF version of their census, print and update it, and then fax it to NJSBA at (609) 278-5280.
