NJSBA has announced its summer publication and office schedule.
Newsletter Schedule School Board Notes begins its summer publication schedule the first week of July. Online editions of the newsletter will be posted on July 11, July 25, August 8 and August 22. Weekly publication resumes in September. The next print editions of School Board Notes will be July 18 and August 15.
In the case of important breaking news, School Board Notes will publish a special online edition as needed.
Office Schedule During the months of July and August, NJSBA follows a four-day compressed work week for its staff. The total number of hours worked remains unchanged, as employees will work extended hours Monday through Thursday. As in previous years and in keeping with our sustainability initiatives, the NJSBA headquarters office will be closed on Fridays, which will help reduce energy usage.
The compressed work week begins next week. The Association will return to a regular five-day schedule after Labor Day.
While the office will not be open on Fridays during July and August, any previously scheduled off-site meetings or programs involving NJSBA staff will still take place. Staff will respond to all email and voicemail.
