The New Jersey School Boards Association and the New Jersey PTA jointly hosted their annual Legislative Day, when school board members and parents had the opportunity to meet with a number of New Jersey state legislators. The program included a keynote speech by Senate President Steve Sweeney; a panel discussion featuring legislators; a discussion with two superintendents and NJSBA Director of Governmental Relations Mike Vrancik; and a speech given by Mark Biedron, president of the New Jersey State Board of Education.
