The New Jersey School Boards Association has partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp. and its reseller ecosystem to help school districts and member charter schools throughout New Jersey better manage and reduce cybersecurity risk. The new partnership will provide access to a broad range of cybersecurity-related software, hardware, implementation services and training at discounted pricing. Through the contract’s cooperative purchasing clauses, these solutions are also available to K-12 academic institutions and school board associations nationwide.

Districts and public sector agencies that are members of the NJSBA Cooperative Pricing System through the Alliance for Competitive Energy Services (ACES) can begin purchasing cybersecurity products and services using the NJSBA procurement number #E-8801-ACES-CPS at any time. Districts can join the NJSBA Cooperative Pricing System by passing a resolution.

Carahsoft’s Cyber Team will work with NJSBA to accurately match its cybersecurity portfolio with NJSBA members’ specific needs to provide proven, cost-effective protection for critical networks and digital information. These solutions address the five functions outlined in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, enabling schools and districts to identify, protect, detect, respond to and recover from an increasing number of cyber incidents and to a broader range of cyber threats that schools are currently facing.
