The New Jersey School Boards Association recently released the 2017 – 2018 Board Member Academy Training Catalog, which was mailed with the September/October issue of School Leader magazine.
The catalog, which runs from July 2017 through June 2018, includes close to 150 programs, including training on board effectiveness, finance, labor relations, community relations, school law, technology, I-STEAM, sustainability, regional training through the county associations, and more.
This new publication will allow school leaders to plan their training schedules in advance, and provides information on Board Member Academy credit offerings, including programs offering credit toward the new I-STEAM Leader and Green Leader certifications.
