As part of the NJSBA TEC program, the New Jersey School Boards Association is offering three upcoming webinars within the next two weeks.

NJSBA’s interactive and informative webinars are free, and make learning convenient. Viewers may watch webinars live to interact and ask questions, or watch the archived broadcast at any time. Pre-registration is required, and board members, administrators, and other district staff members are encouraged to participate.

The upcoming schedule of NJSBA TEC webinars is as follows:

“Escape the Bus” is Coming to New Jersey, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 10 – 11 a.m. The iSchool Initiative “Escape the Bus” experience demonstrates the “Four C’s” – critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity – using core components of escape rooms, educational strategies, and technology to create an unforgettable experience. Students and teachers are given an opportunity to learn about all sorts of innovative technology through this self-guided and cooperative event.

21st Century Classroom Solutions, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 10 – 11 a.m. NJSBA has partnered with SHI to help school districts across New Jersey save money on 21st century classroom solutions, through the NJSBA Cooperative Pricing System. The new partnership will help districts identify the 21st century classroom products and services to meet their goals and ensure that technology investments are efficient, secure and cost-effective. E-Rate; Category Two Budgets, Procurement, and Equipment Tracking, Wednesday Sept. 27, 12 – 1 p.m. NJSBA has partnered with E-Rate Consulting, Inc. (ERC) to help school districts and member charter schools throughout New Jersey to fully leverage the opportunities available through the E-rate program. During this webinar, learn about the rules pertaining to category two budgets and procurement of eligible equipment, as well as tracking and transfers of eligible equipment procured by using the E-rate competitive bidding process.
