Superintendent – Alpha Borough

The Alpha Borough Board of Education is seeking an energetic and creative educational leader. Alpha, a K-8 school district located in a small traditional community, has approximately 200 students supported by a dedicated certificated staff of 27 and an annual budget of $5.5 million with a shared Business Administrator.

Qualifications

• NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required
• Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, Central Office &/or Principal experience preferred
• 3 Years of classroom teaching experience preferred

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational abilities, along with exceptional writing and communication skills.  The district desires an engaging public speaker who encourages parental involvement. Demonstrable expertise in long-range planning, curriculum and instruction, grant writing, technology, finance and personnel, and community relations highly desirable.
