David Verducci, a member of the Upper Saddle River school board, and a retired Glen Rock superintendent, was one of several local board members to testify before the State Board about the state’s accountability regulations at a regional hearing held on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Morris County Police and Fire Academy in Morris Plains. Other local board members testifying included Laura Lab, West Orange Board of Education; Anthony Gasparovich, president of the Ramsey Board of Education; and Lorraine Waldes, president of the River Vale Board of Education.

Michael Kaelber, NJSBA director of legal and labor relations services, testified for the Association, about the recommendations of the NJSBA Task Force on the Accountability Regulations, of which he was the chairman.
