State Legislators Seek Board Member Input on Education Funding

On Feb. 22, in a program coordinated by the Essex County School Boards Association, school board members met with state legislators for a far-ranging discussion on school funding. Assemblywoman Sheila Oliver requested that NJSBA coordinate the meeting, on behalf of the lawmakers. Camden/Gloucester

In the southern region of the state, the combined meeting of the Camden and Gloucester County School Boards Associations, held on Feb.23, also featured discussions between board members and state legislators.
