County Scenes: Middlesex, Monmouth, Hudson

Middlesex

Anthony Fasano, the president of the Hopatcong Board of Education, was the speaker at the March 2 Middlesex County School Boards Association (MCSBA) meeting. Fasano was a high school student himself just three years ago. The MCSBA meeting also honored 60 high school students as “Unsung Heroes” for overcoming obstacles to achievement. More than 360 education leaders, students and family members attended the meeting.

The Monmouth County School Boards Association (MCSBA) held its “Eighth-Grade Dialogue” program on March 2 at the Southard School. The program provides a forum for county middle school students to discuss their educational experiences.
