NJSBA recently hosted a meeting of the state Study Commission on the Use of Student Assessments. The nine-member commission, appointed by Gov. Chris Christie, is charged with reviewing the “volume, frequency and impact of student testing occurring throughout New Jersey school districts.” The commission is chaired by Commissioner of Education David Hespe (at center in photo), and includes NJSBA Executive Director Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod (at left of Hespe).
