The New Jersey Department of Education will hold three “public listening sessions” on the implementation of the federal ‘Every Student Succeeds Act’ (ESSA). ESSA was signed in December 2015, and is the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind.

Members of the public can receive updated information on implementing ESSA, discuss how the state and individual districts can best put into effect areas of the new law, and provide targeted feedback on NJDOE proposals for implementation.

  • Sept. 8, 4-6 p.m., Lecture Room 430, Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1400 Tanyard Rd., Sewell, 08080. Registration Link.
