Mandated Training

All Mandated Training required by the New Jersey School Ethics Act and the New Jersey School District Accountability Act at no additional cost. Your school’s trustees and administrators may also attend NJSBA Board Member Academy programs at reduced member rates.

Membership in the Alliance for Competitive Energy Services (ACES)

NJSBA’s energy aggregation program saves enrolled charter schools saved an average of $3,000 annually on their energy bills. Districts across the state have saved more than $50 million in the last two years.

NJSBA Field Service Representatives

As part of the associate membership for charter schools, NJSBA offers on-site training and direct services delivered by NJSBA Field Service Representatives on topics such as goal-setting, strategic planning, administrator evaluation, board-lead person relations, and board effectiveness.

Sustainability Services

NJSBA is committed to helping schools across New Jersey reach their sustainability goals. As an NJSBA member, your school will have access to training and services delivered NJSBA’s expert staff members, who have LEED Green Associate accreditation and Education for Sustainability backgrounds, play key roles in numerous large-scale sustainability initiatives including the Sustainable Jersey for Schools Program, the New Jersey Sustainable Schools Project, the Green Program of Study, and the Green Ribbon Schools awards recognition program.  If your school or district is looking for ways to integrate sustainable practices, start with NJSBA membership.

Grants Services
