The New Jersey School Boards Association is accepting entries for the annual School Leader Award. Established in 1986, the School Leader Award recognizes creative classroom and extracurricular programs in New Jersey’s public schools.
Entries must be received in the NJSBA office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27.
Each entry is judged on the level of innovation, how well the program addresses the needs of students, its relationship to the state’s curriculum standards, and its results. Programs must be in place for two full years to qualify for consideration.
The deadline for submissions is June 27. Winning entries will be recognized in October at Workshop 2016.
