This year’s theme, “Partners in Student Achievement – Empowering the 21st Century Student,” focuses on collaboration among education leaders, educators, businesses, non-profits and communities – all working together to ensure a strong future for New Jersey’s children.

Workshop Program Proposals NJSBA is seeking engaging, creative and thoughtful program submissions for Workshop 2015. Hurry – the deadline is April 20! Learn more here.

Call for Student Performances To highlight music education and the talent and skills of New Jersey public school students, the NJSBA will showcase several musical performances during the 2015 Workshop Conference. The students will perform on October 27 or 28. The submission deadline is April 30. Learn more here.

Registration Workshop 2015 registration will open on May 1. The cost of Workshop group registration for boards of education and member charter schools is $1,300. The group registration covers up to 14 team members, which may include school board members, the business administrator, superintendent, facilities manager, curriculum coordinator and technology director. Registration must be handled by the school business administrator. Individual member registration is $250.

Housing Information Housing for Workshop 2015 will also open on May 1. Blocks of rooms have been secured at a number of hotels in Atlantic City for Workshop 2015 attendees. Hotel information will be listed on the Workshop website on May 1. Housing must also be handled by the school business administrator.

Workshop Mobile App Back by popular demand! The NJSBA Workshop 2015 app will be your one stop for everything Workshop. The app will be available for download this summer.

Free Lunch & Learn The free Lunch & Learn program is back – and this year it will be offered on both Tuesday and Wednesday! This outstanding training opportunity is multitasking at its best. Read more.

Professional Development Credit Workshop 2015 includes training for all school leaders – including educational facilities managers and qualified purchasing agents. A number of programs will qualify for continuing education credits toward certification for school facilities managers and purchasing personnel. Learn more.
