For an upcoming article in School Leader magazine, NJSBA is reaching out to districts to find out what types of school security measures they have instituted since December 2012, when the tragic school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut claimed the lives of 20 children and six adults.

Perhaps your district has made renovations to buildings; installed cameras; instituted an anonymous threat reporting system; hired a school resource officer; changed school visitor policy; or taken other steps to make schools safer.

Take a moment to share what’s new in your district by taking the 30-Second Survey here.
