With any new presidency there are new ideas and new players.  With new President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., could changes impact New Jersey school districts?

A New Jersey School Boards Association podcast airing at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, will cover the topic, “Possible Education Impacts of the Trump Administration.”

Deborah Rigsby, director of federal legislation for the National School Boards Association, will discuss the topic with host Ray Pinney of NJSBA. Issues addressed will include school funding, charter schools, school choice, ESSA, school lunch programs, as well as the vision of the new Secretary of Education, Betsy De Vos.

The podcast will be broadcast live on BlogTalkRadio, NJSBA’s online program, and will be archived for later listening. To contact the host during the program, please call (347) 989-8904.
