Sustainable Jersey for Schools recently announced that 30 grants of $4,000 each are available to middle and high schools that are registered in the Sustainable Jersey for Schools program. The grant funding is available to help schools implement specific health and wellness initiatives.
The $120,000 in grants is being funded by the New Jersey Department of Health through its Maternal and Child Health Services Title V Block Grant.
Grants information is available online; as is an application. An online webinar will be held on April 14 to review the grant application process, including using the online application, requirements, and tips for successful applications.
The application deadline is June 10.
