Workshop 2016, which will take place on Oct. 25 – 27 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, will offer board members the opportunity to earn NJSBA Academy credits toward board member certifications. In addition, NJSBA has been authorized to issue Qualified Purchasing Agent Credits for School Business Administrators, professional development credits for Certified Educational Facilities Managers (CEFM) and sustainability credits toward Sustainable Jersey for Schools Certification, offering even more reasons districts should consider sending their entire team (up to 14 people) under the group rate.
Programming that meets the qualifications for these credits and certifications will be noted on the online schedule, “SCHED” and in the Workshop Program Book distributed at the conference.
To obtain credits and receive certificates, attendees must be scanned at Group Sessions and Action Labs.
District-Approved Educator Professional Development Credits Educators who wish to receive certificates of completion for programs that they attend at Workshop 2016 can do so upon request.
