Recently the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Janus v. AFSCME that union “agency shop” fees, which were established by statute in 22 states, including New Jersey, were unconstitutional.  What is the impact of this ruling on school districts? How will this impact the “Workplace Democracy Enhancement Act,” a recently enacted state law which broadens the union’s access to prospective and existing members?

Join Ray Pinney, NJSBA director of member engagement, on Wednesday Aug. 8 from 11- 11:45 a.m. as he discusses this ruling with John Geppert, a partner with the law firm of Scarinci Hollenbeck.
