New Jersey’s 21 county school boards associations bring together board members to receive training and hear speakers on a variety of topics. The meetings also provide the perfect opportunity for members to compare notes and best practices with colleagues in neighboring school districts.
The current edition of School Leader magazine features a special section on New Jersey’s county school boards associations, their leaders, and their student programs.
The issue also provides a preview of Workshop 2018, to be held in late October at the Atlantic City Convention Center, and a look at the programs honored in the 2018 Innovations in Special Education awards.
The issue also includes an article on the essential elements of successful schools. The report, “The Elements of Success: 10 Million Speak on Schools That Work,” is from the Learning First Alliance, a coalition of 12 major education organizations, including the National School Boards Association.
