Students and teachers in the Trenton school district are enjoying new technology-ready classroom furniture worth approximately $15,000, thanks to a donation by SHI International Corp., Anywhere Cart Charging Solutions, and MooreCo, Inc. at Workshop 2017.

The state educational conference, which took place in October, is sponsored annually by the New Jersey School Boards Association, the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, and the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials.

The furniture came from the SHI International Corp. booth in the 21st Century Classroom Solutions Center, which featured demonstrations of cutting-edge educational technology and equipment, as well as displays of the latest in classroom furnishings and technology.

At the conclusion of the conference on Oct. 26, SHI International Corp. partnered with Anywhere Cart Charging Solutions, a charging cart manufacturer, and MooreCo, Inc., which makes technology-enabled furniture for classrooms, to donate tables, chairs, device-charging carts, and other equipment to the school district.

“We thank SHI, Anywhere Cart Charging Solutions, and MooreCo for this generous donation to the school district,” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director.  “This is an excellent example of how corporations and school districts can partner effectively for the benefit of our students.”

“We are incredibly appreciative for the generous and thoughtful donation of the furniture from this year’s NJSBA Workshop conference to the Trenton Public Schools,” stated Gene Bouie, president of the Trenton Board of Education.
