On Saturday, Feb. 4, the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) will offer three regional opportunities to attend a board leadership training conference. The training is designed for board presidents and vice presidents, but is open to all board members who aspire to improve their leadership skills.
Topics include:
- Running an effective meeting
- Dealing with challenging community members and board members
- Working with your administrative team
Program Information The programs will take place from 9 – 11:30 a.m. (registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.), and costs $50 per person. School board members should ask their school business administrators to register them for this program using the registration links below.

Seeking Member Input This program will include a networking portion, providing an opportunity for members to learn from each other’s experiences. In addition to the topics noted above, NJSBA would like to address the leadership topics that members want to discuss.
