On Friday, March 9, NJSBA will host its annual Technology Conference. The conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) at the Conference Center at Mercer, 1200 Old Trenton Rd., West Windsor, N.J. 08550.

This interactive program will offer a variety of breakout sessions, including sessions on cybersecurity, school networks, modern classrooms, best practices, and more; two general sessions; and a networking lunch.

The afternoon keynote session will feature a discussion on the Future Ready Schools – New Jersey initiative, a school certification based on the national Future Ready Framework that is designed to help schools and districts best prepare their students for success in the digital age. The discussion will cover the why, what, and how of the program and initiative, including ways schools can get certified and how individuals can get involved. In addition, attendees will receive an introduction to the 2018 certification program.

Cost/Registration Information The cost is $99 per person. Registration of school board members and other district staff that have been reported to NJSBA through the completion of the district census form may be completed online, but only by the school business administrator, who must attach a scanned copy of the purchase order with the registration. The fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch and program materials. Additional district staff may register through this link.

Professional Development The program offers 4 Board Member Academy credits and Qualified Purchasing Agent credits for breakout sessions for school business administrators.

Who Should Attend? School board members, business administrators, superintendents, IT directors/staff, curriculum directors, content supervisors, and principals should attend. There will be sessions for everyone.
