The 2015 Advocacy Institute – the National School Boards Association’s legislative conference for school board members – is being held Feb. 1-3 in Washington, D.C. Several New Jersey school board members are attending to learn more about legislation impacting public education, to gain a better understanding of how to influence federal legislation, and to meet with members of the New Jersey legislative delegation.
