The New Jersey School Boards Association Field Services Department on Saturday, Feb. 3 is hosting three regional programs to review the new chief school administrator (CSA) evaluation tool.This program is available at no cost to board members or their districts, but pre-registration is required.
The programs will provide an in-depth review of NJSBA’s improved CSA evaluation tool, developed in cooperation with the New Jersey Association of School Administrators. The new tool features updated evaluation standards, reflecting the qualities and values of leadership that are integral to student success, and focuses on the communication between the board and superintendent. The improved tool also provides a user-friendly template to complete the summary evaluation.
All three programs run from 9 a.m.–11:30 a.m. on Feb. 3, with registration and a light breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. Those interested are encouraged to attend at a location most convenient for them. The Guide to the New Chief School Administrator Evaluation Process program offers 1 Board Member Academy credit.
