On Monday, June 19 the state Senate confirmed Kathy Goldenberg, a former Moorestown school board member and an active member of NJSBA, to the State Board of Education.
Goldenberg has served on the Moorestown Board of Education, in Burlington County, since 2007. She resigned from her local school board recently in order to take her position with the State Board.
While on the Moorestown board, she was an active member of NJSBA, serving on the Legislative and School Finance committees. Additionally she was active with the Moorestown Home and School Association, and the Garden State Coalition of Schools.
