In May, the Pequannock Board of Education was awarded the Carole E. Larsen Master Board Certification, the highest level of board certification from NJSBA’s Board Member Academy.

A new “Education Matters” video spotlights the board,  the process it went through to earn certification, and the benefits it reaped from the additional training required to become certified.

“The superintendent and the board expect the staff and the administrators to continue their professional development to make them better at their craft and to benefit our students. So, we really have to put ourselves in that role and do the same,” said Kimberly Quigley, president of the Pequannock board.
