New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno joined Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director; Don Webster Jr., NJSBA president; representatives from the state’s education community; and several members of the military to discuss Military Opportunities Day, an event which New Jersey schools may voluntarily participate in during the fall. Military Opportunities Day is designed to build an understanding of post-high school educational and career opportunities available to students through military service.

Among the educational organizations represented at the meeting were the New Jersey PTA; the New Jersey Association of School Administrators; the New Jersey Education Association; the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association; and the New Jersey Department of Education.
