As part of its commitment to helping schools across New Jersey reach their sustainability goals, NJSBA is offering board members and school district personnel an opportunity to attend a one-day Sustainable Practices Working Session.

In this session, participants will review strategies for energy efficiency that can lower a school’s operating costs and create healthier learning environments for students and staff. Districts are encouraged to send their “green teams.”

The program will offer two NJSBA Board Member Academy credits and three Certified Educational Facilities Manager (CEFM) Credits. Attendance can also contribute toward the minimum sustainability training requirements for Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification.

The session will take place at the NJSBA headquarters at 413 West State Street, Trenton and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The session is $75 for up to three attendees and also includes a continental breakfast and program materials for all participants. Pre-registration is required and seats are limited. To register for the session, click here.
