Junior Achievement of New Jersey, a non-profit which provides business, economics and life-skills programs for students ages K-12, will hold a series of five programs for high school students to help equip them with the skills required to get and maintain a job.
The JA “Career Success Workshops” teach students skills such as resume writing and interview techniques, and provide information on higher education and future job outlook. Students will also have the opportunity to network and learn from professionals from the state’s top companies
The programs will be held on the following dates: March 31 at Felician University in Rutherford; April 15 at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken; April 26 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison; May 18 at Drew University in Madison and June 7 at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City.
Workshops are open to all high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Registration is free and lunch is included. The programs run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
