On April 28, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in partnership with the New Jersey School Boards Association and other local community non-profits organizations, will offer a Youth and Family Drug Awareness Summit at the Wildwood Convention Center. The summit will include interactive training sessions which will provide an educational, motivational, high-energy drug prevention event for youth and parents. Through the use of fun, interactive training sessions and speakers, attendees will be inspired toward continued action and community coalition involvement to create a drug-free space throughout New Jersey.

The summit format will include:

  • A general assembly presentation;
  • Dance team/youth presentations;
  • Small session blocks;
  • A joint adult-youth activity session; and a
  • Guest speaker (to be announced).

Discounted tickets will be available for access to Morey’s Pier following the summit.

The program is for students in grade 4 through 8 and their parents or guardians. Lunch will be provided.
