The New Jersey School Boards Association, in collaboration with NASA, is hosting its fifth all-day, hands-on integrative STEAM program Friday, April 27, at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

NJSBA’s Annual I-STEAM NASA Field Trip offers 4 NJSBA Board Member Academy credits. The member rate for the program is $129 and includes transportation, all meals and program materials.

About the Program The NASA I-STEAM Field Trip provides New Jersey school leaders with information on ways NASA can help support integrative STEAM leadership decisions — science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math — and curriculum development in school districts.

Participants will see how science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics are accomplished at NASA, and will also meet the men and woman who bring space flight, robotics, earth system science and much more, to life. Attendees will learn resources and best practices that can enhance their districts STEM/I-STEAM programs and learn how NJSBA and NASA can help support leadership decisions and curriculum development in STEAM education.

Participants will experience a full day of hands-on learning, and witness unique system problem solving, as only NASA can offer it.

Program Features Include:

  • Tour of key areas of Goddard Space Flight Center
  • Presentations on educational resources available through NASA
  • Meet NASA engineers, scientists and mission specialists

This popular program fills up every year. Space is limited to 80 attendees.
