While a community’s board of education and its municipal government are the foundation of local governance, often the two don’t coordinate efforts, and sometimes they even work at cross-purposes.  One notable exception to this is Fair Lawn, where the municipal governing body and the school board have worked together for many years to put their community first.

On Wednesday, March 9 at 3 p.m., NJSBA’s online radio show, Conversations on New Jersey Education, will feature a talk with Fair Lawn school board members Eugene Banta and Michael Rosenberg and Kurt Peluso, a Fair Lawn councilman.  Join NJSBA’s Ray Pinney, to hear how the partnership was formed and how it has prospered.

About the ProgramConversations on New Jersey Education, NJSBA’s program over BlogTalkRadio.com, is similar to a live radio talk show, except it is broadcast through the Internet. The 45-minute shows air live, but recordings are also available to download later, or to listen to “on demand” online. To hear the live show or past recorded broadcasts, visit NJSBA’s BlogTalk Radio web page.
