The May 11 NJSBA Board of Directors meeting featured a demonstration of the Association’s new videoconferencing system, which was donated by Cisco Systems.  The system will be used to provide remote access to meetings and NJSBA training sessions.

Three board members, Irene LeFebvre, of the Boonton Town Board of Education, who is the Morris County representative; Ray Morris, of the Newton Board of Education, who represents Sussex County; and Kevin Ciak, of the Sayreville Board of Education, who is a non-voting representative of the National School Boards Association, participated in the meeting via remote access.

The presentation included a remote performance by the Woodbridge High School Choir, which led the Board of Directors representatives in the flag salute and performed the National Anthem.
