Sustainable Jersey for Schools is accepting grant applications from public schools that serve students in grades six through 12 to undertake specific health and wellness actions. Funded by the New Jersey Department of Health, the Sustainable Jersey for Schools Small Grants Program will make $120,000 available to schools for this grant application cycle.

Application proposals are being accepted through Friday, June 26. Visit the grants page on SustainableJerseySchools.com to submit an online application. Applicants must be registered in the Sustainable Jersey for Schools program. Thirty $4,000 grants will be awarded to implement specific health and wellness actions in schools. The grant can be used to implement Sustainable Jersey for Schools actions such as: school gardens, staff wellness programs, asthma friendly schools, healthy food choices, programs to promote physical activity and more.
