Recently the School Ethics Commission released several advisory opinions that impact which board members can participate in labor negotiations and in personnel matters. The opinions also identify volunteer activities board members may need to shy away from.
Joanne Restivo, acting executive director of the School Ethics Commission, and Robert Bender and Mark Finkelstein, commission members, were interviewed on May 18 for the Association’s online radio program, Conversations on New Jersey Education.
