The 3Rs: Roles, Responsibilities and Resources for new (and not so new) board members will be discussed in a series of upcoming training sessions.

Designed to take place shortly after November board elections, NJSBA will hold regional forums for board members-elect on the role of the board of education. The programs will give newly-elected board members an overview of their responsibilities and the resources available through NJSBA before they are sworn into office.

The programs, “The 3Rs: Roles, Responsibilities and Resources,” are also open to current board members. All three sessions include the same content.

“The 3Rs: Roles, Responsibilities and Resources” will take place on the following dates:

  • December 6, North Brunswick High School, 7-9 p.m. Register here.
  • December 8, Riverview School, Denville, 7-9 p.m. Register here.

There is no charge for attendance, and board members and members-elect may attend any program that is convenient to them.
