On Friday Oct. 7, both houses of the Legislature met in special session to vote on the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF). The TTF had run out of funds earlier in the year when the governor and legislative leadership could not come to agreement on an extension. However, a deal was finally reached last week, and the bill enacting that deal was passed by a vote of 45-27 in the Assembly, and 23-14 in the Senate.
