The New Jersey Arts Education Partnership (NJAEP) on Oct. 20 released the results of a survey on school board candidate views on arts education. The survey was conducted as part of the NJAEP’s Arts Ed NJ campaign, which seeks to increase participation in arts education in New Jersey schools.

All 2,000 candidates for school board seats across New Jersey were contacted and invited to share their views about arts education with the voters in their district. Many candidates provided detailed responses to the questions. According to NJAEP, the survey was conducted as a public service, to help voters make informed decisions.
