A cybersecurity awareness event, featuring a four-hour cyber incident case study, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at Kean University.

Sponsored by NJGMIS (New Jersey Government Information Sciences), the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Kean NJCSTM/STEM Building, 1076 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J., 07083.

Technology spotlights will include physical security, internet content filtering, firewalls, security event and incident monitoring, and more. Speakers for the event will include Caroline Conboy, executive vice president, Brown and Brown Metro, Inc.; Dave Convery, principal data center solution architect; Michael Geraghty, chief information security officer, New Jersey; and Eugene Kipniss, senior program specialist, MS-ISAC.
