On Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m., NJSBA will present an interactive webinar on digital security and how to protect the personal information of students and staff.

During this webinar, experts from a networking and security team will help attendees understand how and why K-12 environments are prime targets for digital attacks. The webinar will also review modern architectures around software-defined networking, and securing your school network.

Students, teachers, and other employees’ personal, financial, and healthcare data exist throughout a school’s network. Schools are struggling with the legal and moral responsibility to protect student and staff personal information. Unfortunately, this data is more valuable, more under attack, and harder to protect than ever. Participants will learn how other schools have leveraged this architecture to build a “secure digital school”.

The program is free and registration is available online.
