This fall, the Department of Education will release the results of the first administration of the PARCC assessment. This data will give school administrators, school board members and parents important information about student learning and the effectiveness of instruction.

NJSBA is offering a series of training programs, starting this September, on the PARCC data. The programs are hosted through the county school boards associations and presented by officials from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) .

Dr. Bari Erlichson, NJDOE chief performance officer/assistant commissioner of data, research, and reporting, will explain what the data means, how the data should be used, and how to communicate the results to parents and the community.
