NJSBA launched a newly designed website in late March at staging.njsba.org. The site’s homepage features a clean and an uncluttered design. The new website is easier to navigate, better organized and more user-friendly. The site also employs a “responsive” design, meaning it will work across mobile devices.

As an education leader in New Jersey, it is important for NJSBA to make information regarding training, services and news easily accessible to our members and the educational community.

Five Main Sections After extensive testing and research, the navigation for the site is divided into five main sections including: About NJSBA, Services, News & Information, Training, and Meetings. We shifted to a member-centric layout so our members could easily navigate our site and locate the information they need.

About NJSBA The “About NJSBA” section provides detailed information on Membership, Governance, Staff and Leadership, the Educational Leadership Foundation of New Jersey and our Corporate Opportunities.

Services Our “Services” section details all of the dues-based and fee-based services available to New Jersey school districts and member charter schools, including Policy, Labor Relations, Legal, Field Services, Technology Services, the Grants Support Program, and more.

News and Information The “News and Information” section includes a wealth of useful information for schools and districts, including news and publications, research, and resources to help board members, parents, and the general public advocate for our schools.

Training The “Training” section details all of the professional development opportunities available, including Mandated Training, the Board Member Academy, Workshop, webinars, and training available through the County School Boards Associations and the NJSBA Field Service Representatives.

Meetings “Meetings” includes an easily navigable list of available programs and more details on meetings offered through the county school boards associations. Additionally, all pages will include login access so that members can easily access “Members-Only” password-protected content on the site.

Feedback Please The NJSBA team has worked hard to put together this website, rich in information, to be used as a resource. We look forward to hearing from you on the new website.
