NJM Insurance Company’s award-winning teen driver safety program has already reached 40,000 high school students throughout the state as it enters its third year. Two former New Jersey police officers, with a combined 50 years of law enforcement experience, deliver presentations to students using real-life examples highlighting potential dangers facing teenage drivers.

Topics include distracted, impaired and fatigued driving, as well as state driving laws. Presentations are available to any New Jersey high school and are fully funded by NJM.

On Oct. 27-29 at Workshop 2015 in Atlantic City, NJM safety officers will provide a preview of the program in a session entitled “Helping Your School’s Teens Become Safe Drivers,” along with information on how your school district can schedule a presentation.

NJM will also award a free driving simulator – valued at over $17,000 – to the school districts of two lucky workshop attendees. The simulators provide hands-on experience with challenging driving conditions, allowing teens to practice their reactions in a controlled environment.

Be sure not to miss this informative session and possibly win a simulator for your school district.
