Superintendent/Principal – Fairfield

The Fairfield Township Board of Education located in Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, NJ is seeking an energetic and creative educational leader with strong leadership skills.  The successful candidate will enjoy the varying responsibilities of being the Chief School Administrator and Principal of a PreK-8^th school district. Located in a beautiful rural portion of the western part of Cumberland County and surrounded by a blend of tidal marshes, open fields, and small communities, this single school district has 628 students, 99 staff members and an annual budget of $9.6million.

Qualifications

• NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required
• Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, Central Office and/or Principal experience preferred
• Curriculum development
• Personnel management
• Financial management
• Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Legal Regulations
• Implementation of technology as an instructional tool
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Salary: Commensurate with experience; subject to NJ regulations.
