TRENTON, September 13, 2016—The New Jersey Department of Education today issued additional guidance to school districts concerning sampling for lead in drinking water.

In the guidance memo, sent to chief school administrators and business administrators, the NJDOE also announced three regional training sessions on lead sampling in school facilities. Co-sponsored by the Department of Environmental Protection, the programs will take place September 26, 27 and 28.
